Hello once again.  This is the only part of my page that is partly the same from the old.  I am too damn lazy to totally reinvent this crutial part of my page, but i will update it a bit more and maybe finish some of the places that i left undone.

This page is under construction, although whatever you see here now is complete.  Feel free to browse what i currently have up, and be prepared to see more in the near future!  

     First off, let me point out that i am a fan of the Heavy Metal genre of music.  Basically i think that grinding guitars, screaming vocals, and pouding drums are what makes a song good so you can basically imagine my feelings towards the spice girls and hanson and country music and basically all shit in general.

     I also like classical music, because the fundamental thing in all music is dynamics.  In metal and in classical these elements can be found and come together to form something truly great. However, for the purposes of this web page, i will just stick to metal and not get into composers and whatnot.

    So, without further Delay, here is my bands page.

Metallica:  Of course they are here.  They are, quite simply, the best metal band ever.  Well, before they hit their midlife crisis.  Personally i think that Kirk and Lars have a bit of an identity crisis, not being able to decide whether to be in Oasis or Metallica.  But, they are still the same band who not more than 6 years ago produced the black album, and before that, ...And justice for all and Master of puppets.  James hetfield is quite possibly the best vocalist who ever lived and so, they are here.

Pantera:  Another one of the Greats of the metal genre.  This band is quite possibly the only thrash metal band that has more than just a cult following in this day of Electronica and pussy whipped one hit wonders.  Phil Anselmo, although very unpopular amongst adults, has one of the most powerful voices around.  This is one band who is not afraid to kick ass!  When all the other metal bands are getting softer, they are the only ones getting heavier!

No one who comes to this page has probably heard crowbar, but i urge EVERYONE who even LOOKS at this page who has any of the teenage angst that most of us teenagers have to look into these guys.. They have the most anguished vocals and lyrics of any band ever, and although their guitar riffs aren't all that complex they have managed to have a drop tuned low guitar sludginess that is uncomparable to any other band around. Their new album, oddfellows rest, came out in July. CHECK THEM OUT FOR SURE!

KoRn: KoRn is a relatively new band, and some might consider them in their own category of music, not metal, but i don't give a shit.  They kick ass, they are heavy sons-of-bitches, and they definately have the metal feel.  Being good buddies and taking influences from bands such as Sepultra, it is hard to ignore their Metal roots and call them-

selves alternative, as some have tried to do.  Jonathan Davis has a great voice and vocal range, fieldy's unique style of slap bass, Munky and Heads' amazing guitar playing and Davids smashing drums all combine to create the sound which has come to represent one band and one band alone... KoRn. White Zombie White Zombie is definately one of the most unique bands around right now.. Rob Zombie one of the coolest guys in metal today, i personally think he should write a biography becuaes.. well.. i would love to read it. White Zombie actually became trendy for a while, which, for a metal band is quite the accomplishment. My favorite white zombie songs are the less popular ones, like I Zombie and Blood, Milk and Sky.. White Zombie rules no matter how you look at it.. they are heavy, have kick ass vocals and adlib a lot of cool material.. Type O Negative Type O Negative is one of the coolest bands around.. The guitars aren't that heavy, they have keyboards and the vocals are really mellow, but they are still one of the heaviest fucking bands around! They have one of the darkest moods of any band and.. well.. tehy just have the feel of a really heavy metal band.. They have the trippiest combination of distortion and chorus which makes you feel really tripped out if your depressed, on something, or a combination of hte two.. Check them out if you havent' heard them! Tool Tool has enjoyed large scale commercial success.. They have fast become one of the most popular bands of the genre because of their dark atmosphere and trippy sound.. Their videos and stage act has earned them some degree of notoriety, and they have been in two major festival acts in teh last two years, lolapalooza in '97 and Ozzfest in '98. Crowbar
